Straight from the Molina-Oblitas kitchen. Best eaten on cold rainy days or if you feel sick.

Arroz con Leche

1 liter of milk
Cinnamon sticks
1 cup of rice
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar

Boil water and cinnamon sticks until cinnamon has turned to a different color (about 10 minutes). Wash rice and add to water. Cook until soft. Add a little water if the rice is drying out. When cooked, add milk and sugar. Stir until boiling. Serve with soft chunks of bread.

Note: For sweeter taste use condensed milk in addition to regular milk.
